Question 1

Will this get my resume past the ATS?

Accepted Answer

We cannot promise that, and you should be sceptical of anyone who does. Employers use many different systems and configure them differently. What we can do is produce a clean, well-structured document with real text, standard headings and no formatting tricks, which is what those systems read most reliably.

Question 2

Does the AI make things up?

Accepted Answer

It is instructed not to, and a second checking stage looks specifically for invented employers, titles, dates, qualifications, licences, achievements and numbers. If required information is missing, you are asked for it instead of having it filled in for you.

Question 3

Do I need to pay to try it?

Accepted Answer

No. You can create a profile and run the resume checker for free. Paying unlocks finished documents, tailoring to a specific job ad and downloads.

Question 4

Can I upload my existing resume?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as a PDF or Word document. We pull out what we can and show it to you for confirmation before anything is used. Extraction is never treated as correct on its own.

Question 5

What file formats can I download?

Accepted Answer

PDF for sending and printing, and DOCX when an employer or portal asks for a Word document.

Question 6

Is my information private?

Accepted Answer

Your data is stored against your account and is only accessible to you. We do not sell resume data and we do not use customer resumes to train models without your explicit consent. You can download or delete your data at any time.

Question 7

I have gaps in my work history. Should I hide them?

Accepted Answer

No. Gaps are common — study, caring, illness, travel, redundancy, seasonal work. We will help you present them plainly rather than disguise them, because a disguised gap tends to come up at interview anyway.

Question 8

Do you write selection criteria responses?

Accepted Answer

Not as a separate product yet. The resume builder does capture the detail those responses need, and the job matcher shows you which criteria your experience already covers.
